Loved the application. I mean, the idea it has been built on. Though I do not really understand what to do if none of my friends use it? Maybe it would be even more convenient with majority of people to let strangers help you. That might be even more potentially helpful, it seems to me. So 5 stars for the idea!
I didnt find it useful. None of my friend use this app. Please make a global support.
Quick way to ask the world!
Asking Google is always about getting information. Asking Jelly is about getting real knowledge from real people and that makes it both fun and useful. I usually start my day with browsing some Jelly questions and trying to help people by answering them. I rarely ask, but when I do I get an answer within minutes. So yes, it is a pretty good app, guys.
Very fun and very helpful!
I just discovered Jelly and its a beautiful app with a clean design. I asked a question and got several answers within minutes. Hope this service will grow :)
I think it rocks. Help yourself to keep things and places in mind and help neighbour to discover good advice.
I downloaded this app after watching Biz Stone on Bloomberg TV because it sounded interested. However, I submitted a question to Jelly, and I was denied access to the knowledge from the school of jelly fish because there were too many questions being submitted at once. I wouldnt recommend downloading this app. Then again, the app was well-designed, and it had access to lots of pictures. If you were to type in "jelly fish", a list of jelly fish pictures would pop up.
Disclaimer: I used the original version of Jelly which was fun and quirky. This version is neither. Jelly refers to itself as a search engine but you will have a long wait before someone answers your question. Call me crazy but a certain big search engine has conditioned me to expect answers very quickly - sub 100 milliseconds response to be precise. This version has a whole bunch of inane one line answers to questions. The lack of quality questions and answers is troubling.
The idea of social search is solid, and the Jelly interface is gorgeous. That being said, the app needs work. Too many broken links and error messages. For example, Id sometimes click a button over and over and just not get a response. The function needs to catch up to the design.
The only reason this has gotten any recognition at all (after its FIRST failure) is that Biz Stone is at the wheel. This is a failed concept that does not work. It is slow, inefficient and error prone. Its like you took the information flow of the Internet and put it in a chokehold. Please put it to rest.
Its a wonderful concept; social media and search engine, but there are some things that could be improved. 1.) Followers/Subscriptions 2.) More organized comment section: direct replies to comments as opposed to all of them in the thread 3.) A search bar for users Definitely worth the download though. Its nice not to be limited to a small paragraph like iFunny and Twitter and has lots of potential as a tool for answering questions once the community grows more.
Just needs time to develop user base. Also would like to see location-based questions where only people from that area get pushed to answer
Terrible app. They laid it to rest over a year ago because no one wanted it. For some reason they think they could change the UI and people would feel differently. It takes less than a second to find any information in the world. Your idea is flawed, get over it.
I would like to begin by informing others that this is my first review that I have written w/o being badgered and borderline bribed into reviewing. Im so grateful that theres an application that finally allows one to reach out to others anonymously for those most private and intimate and intimidating questions that most people can feel safe asking w/o fear of condemnation and judgment! I asked my first question bc I had an issue I was struggling with and I couldnt believe that after registering and making my most personal inquiries received a informational and encouraging reply within 20 minutes! I would like to thank the developers for creating such a resourceful application for those of us in society who crave answers yet dont desire the embarrassment and feeling humiliated by asking others who arent so educated, compassionate, and helpful as the users of this fantastic in genitive application!! Thank you again!
This is a really cool idea, but this app looks like a mix between Chacha and Quora. Hopefully, Jelly can get better and faster answers in the future. But, a thumbs up for trying to fill the void that Chacha once was.
Amazing app.. Very similar to Yahoo Answers, but with a sleeker design (in my opinion) and with a much more intuitive UI. Only suggestion thus far is that there should be Touch ID integration, as some questions people ask may be personal and wished to be kept private. After all, this app has considerable emphasis on anonymity; yet anyone with your [unlocked] phone can go in and see what youve asked. Overall, Jelly is a fantastic app and I would highly recommend it to anyone who even REMOTELY uses Yahoo Answers [even as an informal reference for information]. Probably the best download Ive had in awhile.
This app is a cool idea but not the place for something that needs answers for important questions like, "Should I get this lump checked out?" Also, youll also find plenty of opinionated, misinformed people; be very, very careful what you say, youll likely offend someone.
Love this app! Been using it everyday. Great for solutions to everyday situations. Definitely recommend it!! :))
